'something very special' and their mutual sense of quiet style and
was born mid 2004 and now has returning guests from Italy, the UK, USA, Canada, Netherlands,
France, Belgium, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Japan and China. Many

other travel sites. More recently, Casa Portagioia has been
included in the Michelin Guide
for Italy as one of the highly regarded 'pleasant
accommodations' of Italy.
In 2008 Casa
Portagioia was awarded a Travellers Choice award
for being one of the Top 10
B&Bs in Europe. and thereafter in
both 2010 and 2013
it received The Best Bed and Breakfast in the World award
and has achieved many other citations including a presentation by our
region of Tuscany.
