However, if you are looking for a gay friendly bed and breakfast or gay friendly apartment in Tuscany you can be assured a warm welcome, fabulous food, great accommodations and breathtaking Tuscan scenery.  Meanwhile, for  those just looking to chill out, we offer a fantastic swimming pool with gorgeous views, a sumptuous breakfast, lunch and dinner on two evenings a week.

Casa Portagioia offer their guests 5 independent guest bedrooms for bed and breakfast – all with luxury bathrooms.  We also offer 2 suite apartments which can accommodate 2–4 guests.  Offering excellent privacy, a heated swimming pool with gorgeous scenery, it is perfect for a peaceful break in the countryside or to explore the delights of Tuscany and Umbria including Florence, Siena, Assisi, Perugia, Montepulciano, Arezzo - to name but a few.

Most important is the fact that we know how much planning goes into a holiday and that there is too long a space between your vacations.  At Casa Portagioia, relaxation is the keyword.  We look after our guests every need, from a leisurely breakfast overlooking our olive groves, helping arrange your day trips to the fabulous sites of Tuscany and Umbria - and when just a lazy day is planned, our heated pool with its gorgeous views of the Valle di Chio will get you ready for the various restaurants of Cortona, Arezzo and Castiglion Fiorentino.  You may even be staying here when we offer our guests dinner (twice a week), a very relaxed 5 course freshly prepared menu and some very interesting Tuscan wines.
